Casa’s Contract Success with a Key Blue Light Service

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a prestigious contract with a significant blue light service provider in the South-West, for their asbestos surveying and management requirements. Our contract with them commenced in September of this year, with an estimated duration of five years. Casa was awarded this contract based on the quality of our bid proposal. This was comprised of notable elements such as the strength of our regional presence in the South-West, the value for money we offer our clients, as well our previous experience working with clients of a similar nature such as the Home Office and Ministry of Justice.

The blue light service provider manages a large number of assets across a vast region within the South-West. Due to sensitivities surrounding the client’s estate and daily business, security vetting and clearance is required for all staff / team members employed on this contract. This will reduce the risk of compromising the client’s operational responsibilities. Personal details of staff will be submitted to the client for the purpose of completing the vetting process.

As a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, our client has contracted us to meet its statuary obligations to ensure the highest health and safety standards, public health and environmental standards are met through our service delivery. Whilst servicing the contract, Casa will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of comprehensive services, including carrying out asbestos management and reinspection surveys to the client’s assets for ongoing compliance, refurbishment, and demolition surveys to facilitate construction and refurbishment work and air testing and 4-stage clearances to ensure any asbestos removal work has been completed safely. Casa will also provide the client with access to our online asbestos management portal which is an additional tool to allow the constabulary to manage its compliance with ease.

The client has issued strict KPI’s that must be adhered to during the contract. These include the issuing of survey and re-inspection survey reports within ten working days of completion on site. Our wealth of experience and tried and tested operating procedures will allow Casa to monitor and service the contract to the highest standards.

Casa is one of the leading asbestos experts within the South-West region. Securing a prestigious contract of this magnitude is a testament to the company’s professionalism and technical capabilities. We look forward to continuing our work with this key blue light service and delivering the highest standards of service.
