Box Hill Original Sportive 2020

Returning for its 13th year, the Box Hill Original Sportive 2020 took place in Surrey hills last week. Box Hill is well and truly on the map for road cycling following the London 2012 Olympic road races and has been an iconic cycling destination for over a century.

The stunning scenery, array of wildlife and breathtaking views, as well as a five per cent incline, make the Surrey route among the most coveted achievements among amateur and professional cyclists.

Panos Manousis, Business Development Manager of CES, supported Alzheimer’s Research UK  – the official charity partner of the cycling event – by taking part in this ride.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, Panos managed to be one of the 416 cyclists on the list of finishers – cycling 76 miles in just over 6 hours.

Panos commented: ‘Brilliantly organised event, superb in ride support, would recommend UK Cycling Events to everyone! A big thank you to those that where there to support us on the day. ‘

At Casa we are proud to be continually supporting sports activities and we congratulate Panos for his epic achievement. Alzheimer’s Research UK charity’s vision is a world where people are free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.
