Casa’s Contract Success with Torbay Council
We are delighted to announce our recent success in being awarded Asbestos Surveying works under the Maintenance Contractors Framework for Torbay Council. Casa was awarded this contract based upon a scoring matrix taking into account costs submitted and quality. This is comprised of notable elements such as the strength of our regional presence and the value for money we offer our clients, as well as our previous experience working with clients of a similar nature, such as Bristol City Council and Hampshire County Council.
Torbay Council is responsible for managing a large number of assets across the Torbay region, from schools, libraries, to shopping centers and everything in between.
As a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, our client has contracted us to meet its statutory obligations to ensure the highest health and safety, public health and environmental standards are met through our service delivery. Whilst servicing the contract, Casa will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of comprehensive services, including all asbestos surveys types, bulk sampling and analysis.
We’re also updating their asbestos register to ensure their compliance, as well as receiving training from the council to ensure their asset management system is updated in line with their requirements.
Casa’s Devon surveyors are all based in and around the Torbay area using their local knowledge to deliver the work to the highest standards. This framework is being serviced by our Devon & Cornwall Branch, based in Plymouth. Branch Manager Alistair Williamson has said: “We’re delighted to be working with Torbay Council assisting with their Asbestos Management and we look forward to continuing and growing our relationship with the council.”
