Stockbridge, Hampshire.

Another Monday, another town full of history!

This week our Southampton Surveyor Jake is working in one of the smallest towns in England…

Stockbridge has a population of just under 600 people and we have been inspecting one of the quirky tearooms.

The tearoom was previously a pub called “The Wagon & Horses” but now takes its name as Lillies of Stockbridge. The name being an acknowledgement of  Edward VII and his Mistress, Lillie Langtry, who often visited the town in the 1800’s.
