We Did Something Great!

In October a group of Casa Employees ran in the Great South Run in Portsmouth to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This week we received our Certificate from Macmillan, thanking us for our donation.

We chose to represent Macmillan as we sadly lost a member of our team last year after a long battle with Cancer.

Jim and his family received a lot of help from Macmillan throughout his fight. We were delighted to be able to contribute to the Macmillan campaign and are delighted to announce that we managed to raise £1,130!

The weather conditions on the day were cold and windy and the early start certainly was a struggle, but 13 members of the team strapped on their trainers and made it passed the finish line.

Our fastest runner completed the 10-mile race within 1 hour and 18 minutes and all members finished within 2 hours!

A big thank you to all who donated and to those that were there to support us on the day.
