Asbestos Surveys

Casa Environmental Services have been awarded a social housing association contract for managing asbestos across a large property portfolio in the South of England. Part of the contract was to re-inspect all communal areas of the blocks of flats and sheltered housing schemes.

The client required re-inspection surveys  to be carried out in 94 properties on the exact date for the previous re-inspection report, within a strict timetable.

In order to meet the deadline to make sure our client stayed compliant for their external audit, our team of both management and site staff rose to the challenge and after careful planning to make sure the surveys were carried out in the most efficient way, the works have been completed in accordance with the given specifications and timescales as well as with minimum disruption to occupants of each property.

The Contracts Manager said:

“Casa Environmental planned, scheduled and completed all communal re-inspections to meet the anniversary date of each block. This was well managed throughout and all reports were issued promptly and efficiently. Overall this was a seamless process.”

The ongoing surveys assist in managing asbestos within our client’s premises and facilitate both planned maintenance and any necessary emergency works.
