Asbestos Management Surveys

In late 2024, Casa’s Senior Asbestos Surveyor Jamie, along with Hampshire Branch Manager Jake, had the privilege of visiting a vibrant Sikh temple in Southampton to undertake an Asbestos Management Survey.

This temple serves as a sanctuary of community and learning, welcoming everyone with open arms. The temple not only provides meals to all visitors but also offers educational resources, including lessons on Sikh history and the Punjabi language. The dedicated volunteers at the temple prepare food daily, and extended their hospitality to Jake and Jamie, during the survey in which they thoroughly enjoyed.

The temple features a spacious communal area, two prayer rooms, and a classroom where visitors can engage in learning opportunities under the guidance of temple staff. This diverse facility required careful planning and thorough inspection to ensure all areas were surveyed meticulously.

Our team conducted the survey over two days, inspecting every part of the temple for the presence and condition of asbestos materials. The project was completed within the allocated timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to the temple’s activities and maintaining the safety of all who visit this cherished community space. Following the completion of the survey and the issuing of the survey report, Casa offers ongoing support with any queries regarding the content report, and consultancy services for any recommended remedial actions.
