Casa were recently requested to survey a number of Lift Shafts in a derelict building by industry leading construction company Kier. The lift shafts were impossible for a surveyor to access safely and it would have been prohibitively expensive to scaffold the entire shafts .
The solution was for Casa to employ the services of Team UAV, who specialise in industrial Drone surveys. Team UAV supplied both the Drones and of course the pilot and were accompanied by our Surveyor Lee Hardy.
The shafts were closely inspected throughout by Lee, giving instruction to the pilot and monitoring the whole process on TV screens.
