Casa Environmental Services were recently appointed as Asbestos Consultants by a London based Property Developer to oversee a large project in Gloucester.
Casa undertook an extensive Asbestos Survey of the 1950s built retail property and identified large quantities of asbestos throughout the building including licensed and non licensed ACMs.
Casa subsequently compiled a comprehensive specification for the safe removal of all asbestos based materials in the store and will be supervising the removal and disposal works which is due to start in early 2016.
The involvement of Casa in the bid process has enabled the client to benefit from a number of cost savings resulting from work processes identified by Casa that might not otherwise have been implemented.
Ongoing Casa will ensure compliance with the specification and all legislation relevant to the removal process.
