Since 2021, Casa has been the trusted provider of asbestos management services for Abri. This collaboration supports Abri’s commitment to ensuring compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 while maintaining the safety and well-being of its residents across a portfolio of over 50,000 affordable homes.

We deliver a comprehensive range of services to Abri, including:

• Asbestos Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition Surveys: Conducted on domestic housing stock as part of various work programs.
• Surveys for Commercial Properties: Comprehensive inspections, including annual re-inspections of communal areas in sheltered housing schemes and blocks of flats.
• Air Testing Services: Reassurance air tests, personal monitoring, leak testing, and full four-stage clearance testing during asbestos removal.
• Sampling and Bulk Analysis: Accurate and reliable asbestos sample testing.

Our surveys cover both internal and external areas of properties, addressing the needs of both occupied and void dwellings. Each report is designed to support Abri’s operational requirements, ensuring swift and informed decision-making.

The contract is managed through Casa’s Southampton and Bristol branches and adheres to strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support Abri’s operational goals. These KPIs include:

Void Properties, with reports delivered within 3 working days, Planned Works, where reports are delivered within 10 working days, and Communal Re-Inspections, providing Reports within 10 working days.

Last year alone, Casa completed over 16,000 surveys and sampling projects, along with more than 200 air tests. By delivering timely and reliable services, allowing Abri’s repair teams to carry out essential maintenance, ensuring residents can return to safe, well-maintained homes as quickly as possible.

We provide these services across a broad geographical area, including Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Somerset, Surrey, Sussex, and Wiltshire. This extensive reach ensures consistent service delivery to Abri’s widespread housing stock.
