Casa Environmental Services Joins the Legionella Control Association
Casa Environmental Services is pleased to announce our membership of the Legionella Control Association (LCA), a step that strengthens our water hygiene service offering and reinforces our commitment to quality, competence and regulatory compliance across the built environment.
What LCA Membership Represents
Membership of the LCA confirms that Casa Environmental Services meets the Association’s stringent entry requirements, including full compliance with its Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for technical competence, management systems, training, supervision and ethical service delivery, ensuring that legionella risk assessments, monitoring programmes and remedial works are delivered to an industry-recognised standard.
Legal Responsibilities for Legionella Control
The control of Legionella bacteria is a legal duty for employers and dutyholders under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the COSHH Regulations 2002. These duties apply to those responsible for workplaces, commercial premises and buildings with water systems, where failures in risk identification and control can lead to serious health, legal and reputational consequences.
Confidence for Dutyholders
LCA membership provides additional assurance to dutyholders that our water hygiene services are delivered in line with recognised best practice. This includes alignment with HSE Approved Codes of Practice, such as ACOP L8, and relevant British Standards.
Casa Environmental Services provides Legionella Risk Assessments, routine monitoring and remedial support to help dutyholders meet their legal responsibilities and manage risk effectively. If you would like further information on our water hygiene services, or require professional advice tailored to your premises, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
