In August 2018 Casa undertook a Demolition Survey to a number of large warehouses and outbuildings that made up a former Timber Merchants in Cambridge.

The survey was carried out for a Cambridge based investment partnership and was to facilitate demolition of the buildings to allow for redevelopment of the site.

The survey revealed a large number of asbestos based materials were present resulting in our surveyors recording over 120 incidences in a variety of different forms including sprayed coatings, asbestos cement cladding and roof sheets, asbestos insulating board, putty and vinyl floor tiles.
